What is the 30 hour Entitlement
The term after your child turns 3 they are entitled to access 15 hours of free childcare per week
during term time. Some children are also entitled to an additional 15 hours per week giving them 30
hours in total. Your child may be eligible for the 30 hours entitlement if:- Both parents are working (or the sole parent in a lone parent family) and each parent earns,
on average, a weekly minimum equivalent to 16 hours at national minimum wage (NMW) or
national living wage (NLW), - Your joint income (or sole income in a lone parent family) is less than £100,000 per year.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I HAVE APPLIED?
Once you have completed your application you will be told quite quickly if you are eligible. You will
then be given an eligibility code. You must pass this code onto us at the nursery as soon as you
receive it. We will then submit your code to the local authority to confirm your eligibility.IMPORTANT: You must make sure that you reconfirm your eligibility every 3 months from the date
your application is successful. You should receive an email and text message reminder from the
HMRC to remind you to reconfirm. If you do not reconfirm it could result in your 30 hour entitlement
dropping back down to 15 hours meaning you would have to pay for any additional care.Who Qualifies?
Each child that qualifies by age will be entitled to 38 weeks of Early Years Education a year.
Fun Farm Day Nurseries will automatically apply for your child’s funding when they reach the age of entitlement.
A child born on or between:
1st April – 31st August
1st September – 31st December
1st January – 31st March
Eligible for Nursery Education Funding From:
September following their 3rd birthday
January following their 3rd birthday
April following their 3rd birthday
